Data Elements
Overview
This screen enables you to customize the application by disabling standard Data Elements and Available Values that don't apply to your farm. Any Data Element or Available Value that is disabled here will be removed from any available list of values to add to Animal or Non-ID Group records in the following screens:

Filtered Animal List

Configured Events

EID Reader File Import
Disable / Enable Data Elements
The first time this screen is selected, it will show all Data Elements and Available Options enabled. To customize this for your farm:

Review list alphabetically and disable any Data Elements that you don't plan to use on your farm by selecting the check box

Review the remaining items that have Available Options (indicated by a down arrow in Available Options column) and select down arrow to present available options for each Data Element

Review the list of Available Options and disable any that you don't plan to use on your farm by selecting the corresponding check box
Notes:

You can always come back to this screen and enable any item by selecting the corresponding check box

You must leave at least one Available Value enabled if the Data Element is enabled

Disabling a Data Element or Available Value only applies to data entry screens

Previously saved entries to Animal or Non-ID Group records will not be affected
-
Disabled items will remain available as filters in case a previous Animal or Non-ID Group entry contains these items
