Event Analysis

Overview

This screen provides the ability to quickly analyze one or more completed Configured Events. 

There are a few steps involved including: 

  1. Define the event or events that you would like to view by selecting the event name and completion dates. This will place the details of the selected events in the table, provide a number of records per event and total. Select the View Event(s) Details button to see a complete listing of all records and associated data entries. You can sort and scroll through this list to analyze the events. 

  2. Select metrics from a pre-defined list that you would like to view associated with detail in the selected events.

Select Events

The first step to viewing event(s) details and analyzing them is to select the  specific events you are interested in. To do this:

1. Select the Animal Type ( Cattle, Deer, Sheep) which will activate the SELECT EVENTS button and limit the list of available events to the Animal

       Type selected.

2. Select the SELECT EVENTS button which will present a wizard with the following screens:

  • Event Name - select one

  • Event Date - select one or more

  • Review - review the event selected and date(s)

  • Select COMPLETE which will:

    • Place the Event Name and Event Date/Time (finished) along with number of records in the table below

    • Put the total number of records for all events selected below the event listing and activate the VIEW EVENT(S) DETAILS button

 

Notes:

  • To delete an event from the listing and analysis, select the row overflow icon (3 dots at the end of the row) and select Delete.

  • Once a specific event and date/time has been selected, it will not be shown again to select

  • If the event is run multiple times in a day (and finished), the separate events will be differentiated by the finish time

View Event(s) Details

Select the VIEW EVENT(S) DETAILS button to display the list of records in the event(s) selected. Once selected, a screen similar to what is shown below will be displayed. 

  • The records shown will be default sorted by Event Date/Time (most recent on top)

  • The # shown in the first column represents the row number in the view - if sorting is changed, the associated record row number will change

  • The column headers will be fixed for (left to right) #, VID, VID Yr & Tag Color

  • The columns to the right of Tag Color can be changed by selecting the CHANGE COLUMNS button

  • The EID, Weight, Event Name and Date/Time columns are selected by default but can be deselected and other columns chosen from the list

  • To view additional data hidden to the right of the screen, swipe from right to left on the section to the right of the Tag Color column

  • Notes:

    • The rows will show the data element values if they were collected in the event​. The column will be blank if the data was not captured for the record during the event (either not configured for data capture or not collected in the event)

    • Draft direction will be shown if it drafting is configured for the event

    • The date/time listed will represent the date/time that the event was finished, not the date/time that they record was recorded

    • Click here to view the list of available columns to select from

View Details
Share Data

Share Data

To share the event records displayed

  1. Select the SHARE button at the top of the screen

  2. This will create a .csv file with the event records displayed and open the share menu showing the available methods setup on the tablet

  3. Choose the application you would like to use to share the file which will open the application and will place the file in the application for sharing.

  4. Follow the standard procedures for sharing based on the application which is chosen.

  5. All records of the file sharing will be maintained in the application chosen

Select Metrics

To view standard metrics for the events selected:

  1. Select the SELECT METRICS button.

  2. This will present a list of available metrics to choose from based on the Animal Type selected

  3. Find the metric that you would like to apply, select it from the list and select NEXT which will present the REVIEW screen

  4. The Review screen provides a summary of the metric chosen to confirm adding the metric details to the analysis.

  5. Selecting the COMPLETE button will present the metric details and calculated values in order that they were added

  • Notes:​

    • To delete a metric, select the ​row overflow icon (3 dots at the end of the row) and select Delete

    • The metrics will dynamically change if events are added or deleted from the section above
