Add Event Assignment

To add an event to a template, select ADD EVENT which will display an overlay box. To add an Event:

  • Event Name Search - place cursor in search box will display all events that match the Type/Class/Category of the Template. Each character entered will focus the list to those that match. Once an event is selected the event name will be placed in the search bar

  • Schedule the Event - 2 options:

    • For the first event added to a template, just select SAVE

    • For subsequent events, select a Dependent Event and add the lead or lag times and the SAVE button will active

      • Notes:

        • Dependent event names available in search will be limited to events currently assigned in the template

        • If an event has been added to the template previously more than once, it will be displayed with its current template order number after it in the search results - e.g. Drench (10), Drench (25), etc.

        • Example - A Treatment event named "Drench" is added to the template with a 14 day lag time after Template Start which makes its order number 10. Later, the same event is added to the template with a -7 day lead time before "Mating" event which makes its order number 25. The next time that Drench is searched for as a dependent event, the search results return "Drench (10)" and "Drench (25)" to select from.

  • Enter the number of lead (negative number) days before or lag (positive number) after either the dependent event (can be zero if the events should occur on the same day)

  • Select SAVE which will:

    • Remove the overlay box

    • Place the event assignment details in the table and update the order numbering based on the dependent event, lag time and event name. E.g. if two events (A Event and B Event) are listed 7 days after Template Start and they are the only events in the template, "A Event" will be order #1 and "B Event" will be order #2.
