Overview

This screen enables you to:

  • View current list of Health Treatments and their details at an Account level 

  • Add new Health Treatments to your Account

  • Edit existing Health Treatment details (except name and unit of measure)

  • Select a Farm and:

    • View current Health Treatments added from the Account

    • View Health Treatments added from the Farm level

    • Add additional Health Treatments from your Account 

Notes:

  • Health Treatments added to farms from this screen will be available on the tablet after sync

Overview

Select Account

On selection of Manage Treatments, the following screen will display to enable the selection of the Account Health Treatment list.

  • If the user has access to only one Account

    • It will be pre-populated and the button disabled

    • It will display the Account Health Treatment listing

    • All other buttons except SAVE will be enabled

    • The SELECT FARM button will be enabled. If a Farm is selected, it will change the forecast view from Account View to Farm View below​​

  • If the user has access to multiple Accounts, only the SELECT ACCOUNT button will be enabled. Once an Account is selected, it will:

    • Display the Account Health Treatment listing

    • All other buttons except SAVE will be enabled

  • If the Account selection is changed, this will:

    • Display the Account Health Treatment listing for the new Account

    • All other buttons except SAVE will be enabled

View Health Treatments

View Health Treatments

When you select Manage Treatments from the menu, it will present the screen similar to what is displayed below. The information on the screen is as follows:

  • Search Treatments field - entering the full or partial (minimum of 3 letters) name of a health treatment or product type will filter the list to matching treatments

  • Show disabled check box - it selected, it will show all disabled health treatments. These will be differentiated by light gray type 

  • ADD TREATMENT button - this will open a screen to add a new treatment and associated details

  • SELECT FARM drop down - this will present a list of farms assigned to the account. Once one is selected, it will show the treatments associated with the Farm

  • SAVE button - Selecting this will save changes in the Manage Treatments screen and, in case of Farm level changes, it will save changes to both the Farm level Health Treatments list and, on sync, to the farm tablets. This button will activate after a Farm is selected and at least one new Health Treatment is added to it

  • Treatment Name - The name of the Health Treatment

  • RVM - Restricted Veterinary Medicine indicator

  • Meat Withholding Period - this will come from the label of the health treatment and drives the ability to filter and draft animals based on whether they are in or out of their withholding period.

  • Milk Withholding Period - same as above except for Milk

  • Wool Withholding Period - same as above except for Wool products

  • Pack Size - the quantity (in terms of UOM) that the Health Treatment is sold

  • Sale Price - the sale price for Health Treatment (pack size)

  • UOM - the unit of measure for the Health Treatment (ml, g, bolus, capsule or tube). This will determine the available units of measure available when assigning dosages to animals.

  • Unit Price - The Sale Price divided by the Pack Size

  • Update Date - the date that the Health Treatment was added or edited. If this says "Default", it was a pre-populated treatment that has not been updated.

  • Add to Farm - once a Farm is selected, the checkbox will either be blank (not yet added to the farm), checked (indicating it has been added to the farm) or an "-" which will indicate that the Health Treatments shown was added by the Farm. If a check mark is added, the SAVE button will activate.

  • Overflow Menu (select 3 dots at end of row to display)- if selected, will present the following menu items

    • Use Instructions - will display an overlay box with Use Instructions that were entered for the Health Treatment

    • Label - will open a new widow with the url of the label (may download to device depending on device and url)

    • Edit - will display an overlay box with the Health Treatment information to edit

      • Non-Default treatments - all fields except name and unit of measure are editable

      • Default treatments - only Pack Size and Sale price are editable

    • Disable - if selected, this will present a dialog to confirm and, if confirmed, will hide health treatment from the screen and make it unavailable to add to a Farm or Health Treatment event. Note: this will be labeled "Enable" if the treatment is currently disabled.

Notes: 

  1. The Pack Size or Sale Price displayed for any Health Treatment can be updated by selecting the field in the row, which will open the Edit Treatment dialog for editing these fields at the Account level. If the Pack Size or Sale Price is entered, the corresponding field must have a value.
  2. If Pack Size or Sale Price is entered or updated for a Health Treatment, this will also update these fields for specific farms that have the Health Treatment assigned. This is the case even if these fields have been previously edited at the Farm level.

To search for a specific Health Treatment:

  1. As you enter characters of the Health Treatment or Product Type name in the search bar it will focus the list to those that match the entries

  2. To see the full list again, simply delete characters entered in the search bar

Add Health Treatment

To add Health Treatments to the Account on this screen:

  1. Select the ADD HEALTH TREATMENT button

  2. This will open an overlay screen to enter:

    • Product Type (optional) - select the Product Type(s) of the Health Treatment (multiple allowed)

    • Health Treatment Name (required) - enter name of treatment

    • RVM (optional) - check box if the treatment is a RVM

    • Unit of Measure (required) - select from the available values

    • Meat WHP (optional) - will be defaulted to zero if not entered

    • Milk WHP (optional) - will be defaulted to zero if not entered

    • Wool WHP (optional) - will be defaulted to zero if not entered

    • Pack Size - (optional unless Sale Price is entered) - the quantity (in terms of UOM) that the Health Treatment is sold

    • Sale Price - (optional unless Pack Size is entered) - the sale price for Health Treatment (pack size)

    • Use Instructions - (optional) - enter any use instructions for the Health Treatment

    • Label - (optional) - enter the link to the label for the Health Treatment. NOTE: This field will only accept a web address URL

  3. The SAVE button will turn Green once all mandatory fields have been entered/selected. Once selected, the overlay screen will be removed and the Health Treatment details will be added to a new row below the header. If it has been added previously (same name and unit of measure), it will not create a duplicate entry but will move it to the top of the list and update any previously empty fields that have been updated.

To edit Health Treatments on this screen:

  1. Select the row overflow icon (3 dots at end of row) and select Edit from the menu

  2. This will open an overlay screen with all previous entries

  3. All fields except Name and Unit of Measure can be edited for non-Default treatments. Only Pack Size and Sale Price can be updated for Default treatments.

  4. The SAVE button will turn Green once any field is edited. Once selected, the overlay screen will be removed and the Health Treatment details will be updated in the row.

To disable a treatment:

  1. Select the row overflow (3 dots at the right end of the row)

  2. Select Disable from the menu

  3. This will hide health treatment from the screen and make it unavailable to add to a Health Treatment event or assign to a Farm ​

Add To Farm

Manage Farm Treatments

​

To manage Health Treatments aligned with a Farm:

  1. Select the drop down arrow in the SELECT FARM button

  2. This will present a list of Farms assigned to the Account - select one (limited to 1 selection)

  3. This will present the list of Health Treatments at the Account level along with any additional treatments added at the farm level. The Add To Farm column will have the following indicators

    • Health Treatments at the Account level that are not assigned to the Farm will have the checkbox empty

    • Health Treatments already assigned to the Farm from the Account will have a check in the checkbox​​ - these can't be deselected

    • Health Treatments added by the Farm will have an "-" in the checkbox - these can't be deselected

  4. To add Health Treatments not currently assigned to the Farm, simply select an empty checkbox.

  5. To edit the pricing for a Health Treatment assigned to a Farm (either check or "-" in checkbox) simply select either the Pack Size or Sale Price field which will open an Edit Farm Pricing dialog to make new entries or edits. Note - these fields will not be active unless there is either a check or "-" in the checkbox. Also, if an entry is made to one field, it must have an entry in the other field.

  6. The overflow menu will be limited to Use Instructions and Label for items that have been added to Farm or added by Farm

  7. As soon as any new Health Treatments have been selected or Pack Size or Sale Price has changed, the SAVE button will activate. Simply select the SAVE button to save changes to the Farm. 

  8. New Health Treatments assigned to the Farm will be displayed in the Health Treatments screen for that Farm on the web portal and added to all Farm tablets on sync.​

Note: Any pricing changes made at the Account level, will override pricing for any matching Health Treatments at the Farm level​
